July 19, Waterford, NY - 10 am to 4 pm- 2nd Annual Village Cruise to benefit the Waterford American Legion Charles J. Brody Post #235. Raindate July 20. July 27 , Wurtsboro, NY- Wurtsboro HOG’s 14th annual Cancer Run and Bike Raffle to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital - Registration 9-11 a.m., O’Toole’s Harley-Davidson, Sullivan Street, Wurtsboro, donation $20, under 12 free. Raffle for a 2008 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic; only 1,000 raffle tickets will be sold for $40 each or three for $100, need not be present to win. Aug. 3 , Central Valley, NY - Hudson Valley Ride for Kids - Registration 8-9:45 a.m. police-escorted ride starts at 10 a.m., rain or shine, Central Valley Elementary School, Route 32, Central Valley. Minimum donation to participate is $35; for every $300 you raise, you’ll receive one chance in a drawing for a new Honda motorcycle (must be present to win). Riders on all makes and models welcome, free coffee, doughnuts and light lunch after the ride.
